The second I pulled into a parking spot (en-route) to see Dave Matthews Band at Staples Center in Los Angeles last night, a friend pinged me with the news that LeRoi Moore had just died. LeRoi was Dave Matthews Band’s sax player for 17 years.

Staples Center staff were told late yesterday afternoon that the show may be cancelled. Matthews mentioned to the fans in-between songs that “It’s always easier to leave than be left.”

In the center of the Pacific Ocean, in an area that is nobodies problem is hundreds of square miles of toxic plastic. A swirling vortex of currents in the Pacific Gyre, creates a floating landfill. Sometimes referred to by sea captains as the Eastern Garbage Patch. Plastic bottles and trash as far as the eye can see. I have been interested in this for awhile, there is not allot of information on the internet, so it seemed like an urban myth. VBS got someone to take them out on a 3 week expedition to find it. The sea sick pussy is inept at life, but he actually went out there and did it, which is more than anyone else on this planet has done. Laika animation studio invited me to spend the day learning how to… well animate. We did 2d cartoons, stop motion, and live action. Pretty fun, they fed us tons of food, and margaritas.
