Nike Special Forces Boots

Nike made these boots specifically for the Special Forces. Very light weight, extra long laces for tourniquets, and the Nike Free sole. I would not say these are the best for kicking teeth in, but as far as light and keeping the sand and camel spiders out they are top shelf. These were sent to me by my good friend Lieutenant James Savage, who is currently stationed in Iraq.

I am military and I am interested in purchasing a pair of the SF boots, how do I go about doing so?
The same question with SGT Garcia, how can we purchase this SF boots.I see a lot of my fellow comrades wearing this boots and said it is comfortable when in patrol.
Okay guys, you’ve probably given up by now… or just asked the people you see wearing them. If I were you I’d go to:
http://niketown.nike.com/niketown/account/account_login_nikesf.jsp?refer=exclusive&catalogId=101501&nikesf=login&closed=false&cp=nikesf&_requestid=327783
Or just visit nike.com and type Special Forces in the search bar :)
I used them in Konar prov in Af, great, loved them, amazing. You want to be fast and there are only 2 ways to do so, stronger or lighter, the easiest way is to get light. I humped the mnts with these and never twisted an ankle.
http://www.nikestore.com/sf – works too (if you are ‘military’, or a non-military ‘first responder’)
These sound really good. How is the sizing? Do they run big/small, or true to size?
The majority agree that they are consistent with typical boot sizing…
They have been designed to ‘fit’ the average joe, and seem to adapt well
to a reasonable range of foot widths, this is according to the guys in units
that I’ve worked with that have been wearing them.
Coyote,
How do I get these boots today???
I am glad I stopped by to read this post. It is refreshing to read an author who knows the subject matter. I will be adding you to my reader.

got a small question! are these considered “authorized”? i bought a pair for ***** and giggles to wear around our battalion and have had numerous questions as to whether they are authorized? i mean they are 8 to 10 inches in height, tan with a tan sole, i mean where the hell does the army put out a list to say hey guys these are authorized and these aren’t? thanks for the help if you can!!
They should be authorized by most units. The biggest thing is that they meet the height requirement of 8 inches. We had a list of authorized and unauthorized boots posted in our CP so you may want to look there.
