Tall Tower (Al Burj) Planned to Top Burj Dubai
The rumble in sandy arabia never stops… Just as the Burj Dubai nears completion, other towers will soon rise to rival the heights of the Burj to become the Tall Tower.
The “Al Burj” was to be the world’s tallest building but the developer (Nakheel Company) was never able to secure the grounds to build the gaudy monstrosity. Sources tell Weekly Drop that The Nakheel Company will begin work on the “Tall Tower” this year and have already stripped the tower of its original name, “Al Burj.”
The plans for the “Tall Tower” call for the building’s height to be 3,445 feet tall (1.4 Kilometers). If all goes as planned, the “Tall Tower” will be more than twice the size of the Burj Dubai.
Like the Burj, the “Tall Tower” will house offices, hotels, apartments and a shopping mall.
