During my overstay in Southern California a few weeks ago, I made a stop at the Venice Beach Basketball Courts, made famous by the movie “White Men Can’t Jump.” True enough, I was wearing flip-flops and resorted to a few elementary-level pickup games!
After a round of deodorant and cologne, I met up with our friend Cognito and his lovely Lady at a Sunday night Labor Day party.
