TALCS Nikon D200 on a Rifle Stock

This crazy-looking gadget looks like some sort of futuristic weapon, but it is actually a Nikon D200 camera; on a rifle stock. Its called the TALCS, which means Tactical Camera Assault Long Range Stock. It features a fully functional trigger that activates the shutter, so you can literally “shoot” pictures. It also features an auto-focus feature, as well as an attachment for a bipod. Via LikeCOOL.

TALCS Nikon D200 on a Rifle Stock

great job on the acronym…..shouldn’t it be TCALRS???
very creative and crazy idea. But, how to make zoom in and zoom out? I think will be hard to do that
As a journalist for the military I ask. Why?
Aside from the sling and the bi-pod, which are awesome, it seems more tacticool rather than tactical.
At that, looking more like a rifle is liable to get bullets thrown at you.
Maybe a bungee strap to keep the lens and body close to the body while not holding it.
love it!!!! where do I get one,or how do I make it work? thanks.
I dont understand why a pro photographer loose time doing this..
To get attention from others ?
make people’s laugh ?
I dont know why someone takes a professional equipment and turn to something like this, totally uselessness.
Every person live in its own world…This may be cool for him.. I dont know
Im sure this person is retired or don’t have anything to do..
You should send this picture to Nikon to make them laugh..
If you get the Zoom to work I can understand you are a genius… But this hhuuuggg come on !!
There are very crazy peoples in this world.
I know some peoples dope the camera in the floor by purpose just to see the results and to see what will happen and then ask Nikon for a replacement, the only thing they pay is about $200 to refurnish the camera.
They know the D300 D200 have a very hard body and they know if they drop the camera with 200mm and over lens attached what will happen… But they still do it…Plus the cameras have two Lcd`s screens….
They have money and dont know what to do…
Friend from Ken Rockwell do this all the time…
Ken Rockwell have a lot of cameras, maybe 30 cameras in his garage and never do something like that with his cameras.. He use for professional reviews.. If he does something weird to one of his cameras, he will lose his popularity and peoples will not see his as professional anymore.
I have my Nikon in a pedestal, I will never do something like that to my toy… Doing this is a insult to Nikon …..LOL
