The iPhone 3g is not such an expensive tool, so to accommodate those desperate to show off, there was an iPhone download available for $1,000 that displayed an image of a red diamond. That’s all. The application is called “I am rich” and was for sale through the iTunes store.

It took74 days to sell one million units of the first generation iPhone. By that standard, the million-plus 3G iPhones that were sold just over this past weekend makes for a huge improvement; not to mention the 10 million software downloads AKA iPhone Apps / iPhone Applications which sold over the past three days.
