I first met Kimbo Slice in 2005 after viewing his first backyard brawl on Sublimedirectory.com. I noticed his fighting style and emailed him, “did you just get out of prison?” He responded that he had just got finished wrapping up a 10 year bid. Here’s the first of many rare Air Jordan player exclusives which I bought during a recent trip to the wild west! This pair is an Air Jordan PE made for Darius Miles from his days as a Cleveland Cavalier. The Air Jordan VIII has never been available in Cavs colors, making these an extremely hot pair among Air Jordan 8 collectors. An Air Jordan player exclusive is usually limited to between 6 and 24 pair, per style. Most are worn by the players, though some deadstock pairs make way to collectors; like me!

The ultimate for any sneaker freak, Dominic Wilcox’s Cave takes the humble shoebox to a new level.  Made from hundreds of plastic model soccer players glued together, the bespoke structure creates a sacred space for a pair of hallowed limited editions.  Part of a larger collection designed for the Nike 1/1 Art of Football competition, Wilcox created this mini stadium inspired by Herzog de Meuron’s Birds Nest in Beijing, allowing light to filter through the outside shell to the shoes, which rest on platforms in the center.  dominicwilcox.com
