Nike Japan and Medicom team up to create a special Bearbrick toy which will NOT be for sale. It is part of their Playground Design Project, and will be given away to lucky contestants and voters. The toy will feature a gradient color way, with logos of all of the participating brands, as well as a basketball court design. Via ToyBeast.

Medicom has created two new 100% Bearbrick figures for the Taipei Toy Festival 2009. For the first, they collaborated with Toki Doki for an all-over character print. The other was a result of the collaboration with Taiwanese artist Jimmy Liao. Both of these special Bearbrick toys have been released over the weekend. Via Highsnobiety.

Frank Kozik teams up once again with Kidrobot to release a new set of figures, called the Big Mongers. The toys range from 3.5 to 6 inches, and will come in two styles, plain and smorkin’. The smorkin’ figures have a giant cigarette in their mouths. These very cool toys will release next month at Kidrobot.
